**About the role**:
Are you passionate about driving international sales and marketing success through meticulous market insights? We're seeking a skilled Market Insights Analyst to empower our team in achieving strategic goals. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in supporting our efforts across market research, data analysis (costs, geography, industry trends), customer service, communications, business support, and sales generation. Your expertise will be instrumental in assisting with targeted lead generation and enhancing customer satisfaction initiatives using tactical information for the GAF team.
- Partner with General Manager GAF to support $700M-$800M in Aluminium sales each year
- Manage day to day customer enquiries such as product enquiries, pricing notices, trials, shipping parties, customer claims, ISO accreditation, MSDS requirements and Hazardous Substance reports.
- Data management and analysis of daily pricing on aluminium and alumina
- Prepare regular reports on Customer MJP premiums, alumina premiums, metal hedging and FX hedging.
- Validate and reconcile supplier invoices to facilitate timely payment processing, including initial SAP procedures and collaboration with Accounts Payable team to facilitate payments upon approval of purchase orders.
- Engage in Customer Insights & Experience activities by supporting ongoing customer insights and CX support programs and initiatives.
- Provide robust customer data support including defining customer segments, establishing business rules, extracting and analysing customer data, and delivering insightful reports.

**What you bring to the role**:

- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in customer insights, market research, or data analytics
- Bachelor's degree or post graduate qualifications in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Commerce, or a related field
- Advanced Excel skills, and desire to extend these skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret extensive data and turn it into actionable insights.
- Attention to detail and willingness to improve status quo.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
