**Your Impact**

This is a leadership role where you’ll manage a dedicated team delivering accurate and compliant payroll across a large, complex environment. You’ll ensure the team is supported and payroll runs smoothly while working through the challenges of awards, EBAs, and salaried staff. This role is about problem-solving in the moment, guiding the team through change, and working with multiple stakeholders to get things done.

You’ll partner closely with finance, people and culture, and external vendors to keep the payroll function moving in a dynamic FMCG business.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the payroll function and ensure everyone is paid accurately, on time, and in line with legislation, tax, and super requirements
- Work with stakeholders to improve processes, solve problems, and support system rollouts like SAP SuccessFactors, ADP, and Chris21
- Coach and guide the payroll team to build capability and confidence through change
- Resolve complex payroll issues such as award interpretations, EBAs, and stakeholder queries
- Find opportunities to improve processes, lift data quality, and enhance reporting

**About You**:
You know payroll inside out. You stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly, and guide your team through both day-to-day tasks and bigger challenges.

You’ll bring:

- Experience leading payroll in a large, complex environment, ideally in FMCG or a similar industry
- A strong understanding of payroll legislation, tax, and super requirements
- Experience with payroll systems such as SAP SuccessFactors, ADP, or Chris21
- Confidence in working through complex issues like awards, EBAs, and stakeholder management
- A collaborative approach and the ability to build trust across the business
- A focus on accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement
