Having recently undergone substantial growth in the region Ricardo is looking to hire a Head of HR to lead the Australia HR team, act as strategic partner to our business leaders and continue to develop the HR function in region to deliver high quality HR support for all our people.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the Australia HR team, providing both operational and business partnering support to in-region leadership and teams.
- Develop and maintain an effective HR operating infrastructure for Ricardo Australia that aligns to the growth and operational priorities of the business
- Overall accountability for the execution of all HR Operations for the regions - e.g. HR “hire to retire” policy & process, payroll. Ensure the effective and secure maintenance of all people related systems and data.
- Works closely with Global HRBPs to translate global Practice people & business strategies into regionally based teams
- Ensure the provision of strategic business partnering support to key leadership roles within Ricardo Australia.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase employee engagement and experience, including recognition, wellbeing etc.
- Working with the Global Reward team, manage the Australia compensation and benefits programs, and ensure that they are competitive, and compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
- Working with the Global Learning & Development team, support global / regional learning and development programs and develop and implement local programs that support the growth and development of employees.
- Working with the Global Talent Acquisition team, identify the resourcing needs and attract the talent and capability required to successfully deliver the business strategy
- Build a positive and innovative culture locally, provide a positive working environment that incorporates diversity, equity and inclusion
- Helps to shape business strategy by providing regional perspectives, inputs and guidance (e.g. resourcing models, reward structures etc.)

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in an HR leadership position - ideal experience profile would be equivalent to having accountabilities for all facets of HR activity for a business of c.500 people
- Experience of building, standardizing and continuously developing an HR operational environment
- Deep understanding of HR best practices, and experience in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with business objectives.
- Ability to build strong relationships with managers and employees, and to influence and advise them on HR-related matters.
- Strong business acumen and ability to think strategically.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
- Strong analytical skills, and ability to use data and metrics to drive insights and recommendations.
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to HR, and ability to ensure compliance with them.
- Familiar with HRIS Systems, data and reporting

Experience in the following areas would be advantageous:

- Experience of consulting / professional service environments
- M&A and integrations
- Working across complex / multiple businesses a infrastructures
