We are seeking for an energetic, dedicated and passionate **2IC/Assistant Service Manager** to at join our growing organisation at** Busy Bees at Cameron Park.** Busy Bees is focused on setting the foundation for lifelong learning by creating a challenging and insightful program and want to hear from 2IC who have the same values.

Your approach will focus on purposeful observation of the important development processes of each individual child. You won't be someone who rushes, forces or intervenes in their self-paced development. You will be respectful of all children who are discovering knowledge and new abilities. As the first point of contact for parents, exceptional communication skills and the ability to build relationships quickly is essential.

**We welcome you to bring the following skills and experience**:

- A Diploma of Early Childhood Qualification
- A sound understanding and knowledge of early childhood developmental principles including the early years learning framework (or approved framework) - pedagogy
- Current Positive Notice Working with children check for child related employment
- Administration for a large service
- Administrative skills, including effective time and workload management
- Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively with children and families.
- Good Leadership skills and a high level of self-motivation
- Flexibility with shifts between Monday - Friday
- We would also like to hear from New Graduates or those currently studying towards their Bachelor of Early Childhood Education_

**A Day in the life of a 2IC/ Assistant Service Manager at Busy Bees will include but not be limited too;**
- Meet and Greet families, children and visitors at the service
- Rostering, administration and enrolments
- Manage incoming/outgoing phone enquiries
- Assist the service manager with conducting tours
- Assist the service manager with interviews, phone screening, references and finalising new starters
- Manage family accounts through quikkids
- Step up in role of Service Manager if on leave
- Compliance documents within the service
- Assist on the floor when required eg; sick leave, lunch covers
- Assist with the development of staff
- Build trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders
