A Regulatory Learning and Development Support Officer at EPA will:
The Regulatory Learning and Development Support Officer is a member of a team responsible for is a member of a team responsible for onboarding and capability development of Authorised Officers, and the regulatory capability uplift for EPA staff. You will support the Regulatory Learning and Development team to design, develop, and deliver Regulatory Learning and Development programs, aligned to EPA's strategic priorities to prevent harm to Victorian communities and the environment from pollution and waste.
**About You**:
**To be successful in this role you will**:
- Work under the direction of the Manager, Regulatory Learning and Development, to provide administrative support and assist in the planning and delivery of onboarding and capability programs for Regulatory Decision makers, and EPA staff, to enable regulatory decision makers to effectively operate within the environmental protection framework.
- Co-ordinate, schedule and support Learning and Development programs delivery
- Provide Learning Management System reports and assist with tracking and recording of training data where required and ensure all records are well maintained and accessible to the relevant parties
- Manage, maintain and update SharePoint & internal knowledge management systems for the team
- Actively contribute to the development of a positive and high performing team culture, by identifying and implementing opportunities to improve teamwork practices.
- Support the team of Learning & Development Officers in various EPA's capability uplift programs.
- Use your initiative to prioritise tasks and monitor your workflow in the delivery of organisational priorities in accordance with approved project plans, achieving the highest standards of performance, accountability, collaboration, ethics, and integrity.
- Provide administrative support for the management of external contractors and service providers to ensure all contractual requirements and met and value for money is achieved.
- Undertake administrative processes and other tasks as directed for the effective achievement of regulatory outcomes; ensure that all Government and EPA policies and procedures, such as financial management, occupational health and safety, and conduct are complied with.
- Represent the EPA positively in engaging with the community and duty holders to build knowledge and awareness of the laws that protect our environment and human health from pollution and waste, and the role of EPA as Victoria's independent environmental regulator.
- Take a problem-solving approach to work, with a commitment to continuous improvement, ensuring a one-EPA approach to delivering priority outcomes for the organisation.
