**The role**

The Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for delivering marketing communication programs to support the growth and expansion HIA’s products and services. This hands-on role develops and maintains marketing and/or communication activities to meet the objectives of HIA’s business units.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Play a core role in executing both internal and external marketing campaigns, providing overall support to the marketing department;
- Partner with Marketing Managers in liaising with internal and external stakeholders (including Agencies) to ensure seamless delivery of projects;
- Assist in the creation and implementation of the Marketing Calendar, including briefing weekly EDM Campaigns, working with Design & scheduling campaigns;
- Oversee and contribute to copywriting for all types of marketing materials; and
- Act as a lead contact for day to day Marketing requests.

To be successful in this role, you will be a highly organised and self-motivated individual who can demonstrate:

- Relevant business, marketing or communications degree or equivalent professional qualification;
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar Marketing Communications role;
- Proven copywriting skills across both digital and traditional media;
- Understanding of SEO practices and Google Analytics;
- Expertise in writing effective creative briefs and effectively articulating objectives;
- Effective written and verbal communication, presentation and persuasion skills;
- Problem analysis and problem-solving abilities; and
- Adaptability and a collaborative approach.

Experience in customer and/or market research would be viewed favourably.
