Finance & Administration Assistant

Our client, a global brand at the forefront of the data storage industry and known for their extensive range of technology solutions, is seeking a motivated an enthusiastic individual to join their small and friendly team as a Finance & Administration Assistant. You will be working for a truly flexible company that offers free onsite parking, hybrid working arrangements, a profit share incentives scheme and modern offices
Based at our client’s head office in Melbourne's South Eastern suburbs, you will report directly to the Accountant and provide both administrative and accounting support on a wide variety of tasks.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Provide general administrative support to the Accountant
- Process account reconciliations & bank reconciliations
- Receipting and allocation of payments
- Preparation of various monthly financial reports and presentations
- Assist with stock counts and adjustments
- Inventory receipting
- Assist the Accountant with monthly reporting
- Assist with monthly/quarterly/annual reporting requirements for the Finance Team
- Assist with maintaining compliance records/databases and quarterly/annual reporting requirements
- Other tasks as required
**You will ideally have**:
- Great attention to detail
- Some experience in an admin / finance role ideal but not essential
- Experience with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- High level of accuracy relating to report preparation, processing and
- documentation preparation
- Ability to problem solve and demonstrate initiative
- Ability to multitask and work collaboratively with a small team
- Able to liaise with key internal and external stakeholders
