Seeking an experienced **Payroll Officer **to join a global business in Eastern Creek. Specializing in industrial hose fittings for the construction & mining industry you will be responsible for managing the processing of monthly and weekly payroll for all employees.

**Key duties;**
- Accurately process weekly & monthly wage / salary payments
- Perform time sheet, data entry deduction calculations & maintenance
- Reporting / filing maintenance (pay increases / workers compensation payments)
- Record employee information, such as transfers and resignations
- Coordinate superannuation contributions to ensure statutory requirements
- Process transactions in relation to payroll tax, superannuation, deductions, salary packaging
- Ensure you are compliant with all company policies and procedures
- Prepare payroll related correspondence
- General ad hoc enquiries

**The successful applicant;**
- 3+ years in a similar role
- Able to work independently with solid time management skills
- Great interpersonal skills with attention to detail
- Familiar with payroll systems (Pronto advantageous)
- Must have a minimum High School Education to level 12
- Excellent written / verbal skills
- Able to commit to an ongoing contract role (view to permanency)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract

**Salary**: $35.00 - $37.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Payroll: 3 years (preferred)
- Pronto: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
