We are looking to recruit a National Sales Manager to Lead, manage and maintain a skilled, performing and engaged team.

More specifically, you will:

- Drive the Sales Team to achieve sustainable growth
- Lead the team strategy development, deployment and service deliver
- Display positive leadership and communicating a clear vision within the Detpak Australia business
- Create a high performing team with particular focus on developing commercial capability, sales negotiation skills and customer development
- Remove roadblocks and create opportunities for the Sales Team
- Maintain a high level of awareness of market trends, competitor activity and marketing initiatives and communicating relevant information across the business
- Maintain current market share and action strategies to create and capitalise on opportunities for extension within current key account accounts and markets
- Partner cross functionally to ensure business development and productivity initiatives are implemented with Detpak customers
- Drive stock management to ensure the fast movement of excess, slow moving and obsolete inventory
- Continue to drive continuous improvement in process

To be considered for this role, ideally you will have:

- Tertiary Qualifications in Marketing, Business, or relevant experience gained in the FMCG or Packaging industries
- An ability to coach and lead a team and create a positive and constructive culture
- Experience in sales and account management
- Excellent problem-solving ability including the use of sound judgement
- Highly resilient, with flexibility to manage multiple priorities
- Strong personal accountability matched with an ability to integrate within a team environment
- A high level of interpersonal skills to be able to build strong stakeholder relationships internally and externally
