**Your new company**

An opportunity now exists for an experienced Logistics Manager to join their team on a permanent basis to complete a range of duties.

**Your new role**

You’ll report through to the Director of Operations and your duties will include:

- Manage national logistics functions including 3PL relationship, reporting, resource planning and resource management.
- Achieve business objectives including Inventory Record Accuracy, fulfilment and Inbound Cycle Time, Pick and Order Accuracy.
- Negotiating transport rates and facilities, using those that consistently provide best service.
- Oversee the inspection of incoming material ensuring it's inline with order specifications.
- Forecasting and assisting with annual budgets.
- Improve quality by reviewing and improving processes.
- Champion projects and lead change.
- Provide direction, leadership, and support.
- Performance reviews.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures and OH&S

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to be innovative in meeting overall goals of the product line.
- Strong teamwork and leadership skills.
- Proven experience in logistics management.
- Excellent presentation, communication and customer skills.
- An understanding of food service and beverage markets will be advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience in planning, budgeting, and developing business strategy.
