Port Melbourne, Australia Eventpower Solutions Full time

**Technical Sales Co-ordinator - Electrical Wholesaler**

Help Power Australia's Biggest Events

**About Us**

At Eventpower Equipment, we design and supply specialist electrical products for temporary power installations across Australia—from major concerts and festivals to global sporting events like the Australian Open, Formula 1 Grand Prix, and live stadium tours. We're proud to be an industry leader in this niche, delivering tailored solutions that combine product expertise, fast turnaround, and deep industry insight.

We're now looking for a technically-minded Sales Co-ordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with an electrical engineering mindset—you might be a recent engineering graduate, an electrician looking for more variety, a trade-qualified technician with hands-on industry experience, or someone who’s worked in technical sales and enjoys solving complex problems. You'll be using your technical problem-solving skills daily to guide customers toward the right product combinations, custom configurations, and reliable power solutions.

**Why Join Us?**

This is not just an admin or support role. You'll be encouraged to:

- Think critically about customer needs
- Contribute ideas to improve our product offering and service delivery
- Learn the full product lifecycle—from quoting and design to dispatch and post-sale feedback
- Help shape the business as we continue to lead and innovate in the temporary power space

We’ll support your career growth through on-the-job training, mentorship, and the chance to move into more senior technical, product, or leadership roles as the business grows.

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Listen to customer requirements (including event managers, electricians, and engineers) and recommend suitable products or configurations
- Prepare detailed quotes and proposals, including custom electrical leads, connectors, or distribution setups
- Coordinate orders, from sales to shipping and invoicing
- Maintain our Shopify product listings and assist with content updates
- Help manage stock levels and improve warehouse operations
- Play a key role in identifying product gaps or opportunities based on customer feedback
- Collaborate with our team to refine workflows and improve customer experience

**What You Bring**
- A background in electrical engineering, trade experience, or strong technical aptitude
- Excellent communication skills - you can translate complex needs into practical solutions
- A proactive, organised approach with attention to detail
- Familiarity with Excel and basic business systems
- A team mindset—you enjoy contributing ideas and improving processes
- An interest in events, entertainment, or technical logistics (a bonus)

**Even Better If You Have**
- Experience with temporary power, electrical standards, or switchboard/lead configuration
- Shopify, Illustrator/Photoshop, or ERP system skills
- Previous experience in technical customer support or sales

**What We Offer**
- Competitive salary and performance-based rewards
- Ongoing training in our product range and industry
- A pathway into technical sales, operations, or product development
- A voice in a business that values your input and expertise
- A tight-knit team with a hands-on, can-do culture

Be part of the team that powers Australia’s most exciting events.
