The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Principal Divisional Finance Officer to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
Deliver meaningful budgets, forecasts, variance analysis and reports
Collaborate to identify variances and performance issues
Drive and monitor efficiency and optimisation strategies
Consult and advise on the financial aspects of service re-design
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
A relevant qualification such as Bachelor of Business, Commerce or Accounting, or a relevant professional qualification would be well regarded
Experience in a health care setting in a business / operational environment would be well regarded
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Base salary ranging from $136 035 - $145 990 per annum
About Us
The Financial Services Division supports Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service by providing expert and timely financial services. The Division is made up of Divisional Finance Teams, Financial Reporting and Compliance, Financial Performance, Strategic Procurement and Commissioning, Analysis and Reporting unit. This role is based within the Divisional Finance Team, in our Southport facility.
