About us
Asset Factory was founded in 2016 as a leading ecommerce content creation studio for New
Zealand’s retail market. Our business has grown to be the preeminent partner in this space
for the small to medium enterprise retail industry working with brands across the length and
breadth of New Zealand. Our relevance to these brands and the market we serve has seen
our recent expansion into Australia with the opening of our Melbourne studio.
Asset Factory combines automated photography technology from StyleShoots, a Profoto
company, to produce the most efficient, cost effective and high quality video and still life
product content to enable retail brands to amplify their digital commerce and engagement
channels.
A recent partnership with IWD has seen us extend our technology offering into in-store
merchandising operations with the world's leading visual merchandising software. 2D and 3D
planograms to optimise product placement, execute in-store directives and analyse store
performance.
Along with our sister company LookDepot, we are a truly unique and relevant business for
today's retail market on an exciting growth path.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced client development manager for our new Melbourne
studio and showroom. The person we seek has a clear focus on the customer and the ability
to build strong revenue with the support of a small but dynamic team.
The role involves working closely with senior management and our content creator, as well
as an existing network, to grow the Asset Factory brand, develop a pipeline and convert
sales.
The role is part time based in our Richmond Studio. Days and hours are negotiable based
on the expected outcomes which would be agreed on. It is possible that the right person
could develop the role from part time to full time.
- You will be responsible for
- Increasing the awareness of the Asset Factory Australia brand and growing sales.
- Supporting and working closely with our Production Coordinator to enhance the client

experience, either remotely or when on site, from enquiry through to invoice.
- Scheduling and coordinating studio visits for prospective clients.
- Attending relevant industry events to strengthen and grow a networking circle.
- In line with brand guidelines and in conjunction with our Content Creator, develop

content for local marketing, social and general prospecting activities.
- On site customer training and shoot assistance when required.
- Promote and uphold all WH&S policies.
- Quality control.
- Meeting deadlines.

Skills & Experience
- Experience in a high service level sales environment.
- Experience in ecommerce or photography.
- Experience in retail, particularly fashion and apparel.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a fast paced environment.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Exceptional organisational skills, detail oriented and the ability to multitask.
- Professional, friendly.
- Fast learner, self-motivated, able to learn new systems and absorb information
