**About the company**
Our large NSW State Government client delivers insurance and care services to the community of NSW. Whether a person is severely injured in the workplace or on our roads, they support their long-term care needs to improve quality of life outcomes, including helping people return to work.
**About the Role**
They are currently seeking a professional Administration Officer with health/medical industry experience to join their team in either Newcastle OR Sydney CBD with hybrid flexibility to work some days remotely from home. This is an estimated 6-month temp assignment, with a potential to extend.
Working within the Care Strategic Delivery Division, you will be required to provide efficient and effective administrative support to frontline teams
Your duties will include, but won’t be limited to the following
- Deliver professional and empathetic customer service
- Answer enquiries, providing timely and accurate responses
- Facilitate the resolution of problems and complaints, escalate when needed
- Complete inbox management, generating correspondence and distributing, as required
- Respond to insurers, solicitors and subpoena’s request for information, gathering and collating accurate information
- High volume processing of information into case management systems
- Creation and maintenance of vendors such as GP and Pharmacy accounts into the system
- Manage and coordinate a range of service requests including treatment and care, home modifications, continence and consumables prescription and cab-charge
- Preparing documentation, letters, requests for information and reports
- Schedule and coordinate travel and logístical requirements
- Completing financial administrative tasks including invoices, purchase orders
- Distribution of electronic and hardcopy mail
- Records and database management, ensuring high integrity, accuracy and confidentiality
- Contribute to continuous improvement strategies
- Assist on adhoc projects as required
- Ensure compliance with best practice and legislative requirements
**About You**
To be successful in this great assignment you will have the following
- Demonstrated Administration or Business Support experience
- Health or Medical industry experience preferred
- Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
- Solid analytical, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail
- Quick learner, adaptable, flexible and team player attitude
- Superior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office suite
- Reliable remote internet access
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
- Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
