**About the Opportunity**:
The Facilities Coordinator plays a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of properties, focusing on efficiency, safety, and tenant satisfaction. The responsibilities include maintenance, contractor and tenant management and managing compliance for our properties on behalf of Landlords.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Facility Maintenance and Operations_
- Oversee routine and preventative maintenance of all building systems (electrical, plumbing).
- Manage the upkeep of equipment and contractors onsite.
- Effectively communicate to Asset Managers / Tenants regarding maintenance updates.
- Inspect buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations.
- Vendor and Contractor Management_
- Source and oversee contracts and service providers for functions such as cleaning, security, and maintenance.
- Negotiate contracts to optimise quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure services are delivered in accordance with contractual commitments and regulatory requirements.
- Safety and Compliance_
- Manage compliance with all safety, fire, and building regulations and standards.
- Implement and oversee security policies, regulations, and measures to protect property and people.
- Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventative measures.
- Budgeting and Financial Management_
- Prepare and track the facility budget, expenditures, and investments.
- Analyse costs and make recommendations for cost-saving strategies.
- Report on financial performance and forecast for facility maintenance and projects.
- Tenant Relations_
- Act as the primary liaison between the company and tenants for all facility-related matters.
- Coordinate with tenants to perform maintenance and alterations without disrupting their operations.
- Enhance tenant satisfaction through timely response to requests and proactive communication.
- Proficient understanding of building systems and property maintenance.
- Skills in planning, executing, and overseeing projects with a focus on meeting specifications, deadlines, and budget requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with tenants, staff, and external contractors.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address maintenance issues and tenant concerns efficiently.
- Familiarity with facilities management software and tools for efficient operation and management of tasks.
