***ABOUT THE POSITION**

Are you a skilled Purchasing Officer ready to make an impact? We are looking for a Purchasing Officer who will have responsibility for on time delivery of required quality components, products and services in the most cost-effective manner. A critical aspect of the role is to ensure that all purchasing is compliant with the relative standards, quality assurance policies and all other company policies and guidelines.

***POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Review material requirements and raise purchase orders where required;
- Reporting any changes to purchase orders that may have an impact on the business;
- Coordinate supply chain, monitor and review storage and inventory systems, control stock levels, and track all movements of supplies and finished goods to ensure delivery expectations are met;
- Pricing focused on enabling the company to identify key opportunities for savings;
- Identify areas where you can drive opportunities for process improvement;
- In conjunction with the Supply and Sourcing Manager, negotiate contract specifics including pricing and ensure the requirements of the contract are clearly documented;
- Manage third-party suppliers and identify areas for Continuous Improvements; and
- Work with wider teams to hit strategic procurement goals that are set;
**ABOUT YOU**
- 3+ Years experience in a similar purchasing position;
- Start-up environment experience is preferred but not essential;
- Strong communication, negotiation, rapport-building and customer service skills;
- Be able to conduct tasks to a high quality autonomously;
- The drive to grow within your career and internally within the business; and
- Relevant qualification in Supply Chain or similar is preferred but not essential.
