Operational Risk Partner

**About the Role**

This role is responsible for providing Operational Resilience risk guidance and oversight, and constructively challenging the Group with the purpose of achieving our customer centric business outcomes. This will include developing, maintaining, and testing of the Business Continuity Management (BCM) Framework in compliance with regulatory obligations for the BOQ Group. Sounds good already, hey?

In this position you’ll provide guidance on Operational Resilience management, which covers the ability to anticipate, withstand, and recover from shocks and changes in the business environment to continue operations and achieve strategic goals. You will build key relationships with 1st, 2nd and 3rd line of defence (3LOD) Risk leaders, the BCM community in Line 1 and the Head of Technology Risk and Resilience Risk.

Your key responsibilities may include, but aren’t limited to:

- Supporting the annual review and update to BOQ Group BCM Policy, Framework, Crisis Management Plan, and supporting guidelines to ensure it is ‘fit for purpose’ for the BOQ Group.
- Supporting the design and delivery of the BCM training program, including online training modules.
- Challenging business leaders on the identification of critical functions and needs.
- Ensuring roles and responsibilities for risk activities across the three lines of defence are consistently applied throughout Operational Risk and Business Continuity Framework practices.
- Undertaking review of suppliers’ due diligence assessments including business resilience and disaster recovery capabilities.

**About you**
As a Risk professional, you’ll join us with exposure to operational resilience within the banking and financial services landscape. Yip - you live and breathe all things operational resilience risk and join us with a deep understanding of Business Continuity principles, processes, and procedures. You come armed with a wealth of knowledge of prudential standards and have a broad understanding of the expansive risk landscape.
