**About the Role**
An exciting opportunity to join BOQ Group (which includes Bank of Queensland, Virgin Money Australia and ME Bank) as a Technology Risk Partner, Service Delivery and Architecture during our digital transformation journey on a permanent basis. By joining the digital bank of the future, you will be able to make a difference with curiosity and optimism by supporting our IT risk and control management activities within the Group Technology division, adding significant value to our organisation. With exciting projects currently underway, you will be a key contributor to unique business development and change across the BOQ Group.

As a Technology Risk Partner, Service Delivery and Architecture, you will focus on leading identification, management, reporting and monitoring of IT risks and controls within service delivery (technology operations, service management and resilience) and architecture domains. You will further focus on the implementation of the Operational Risk Management Framework (ORMF) within our Group Technology division, such as control self-assessments, risk events and incident management, key risk indicators (KRI’s), issue management and risk in change.

You will bring a commercial and pragmatic lens to managing service delivery and architecture risks, providing guidance on risk acceptance and design of remediation plans, while ensuring to balance risk/reward, board risk appetite and compliance requirements that extend to regulatory, external and internal audit issues. Reporting to the Head of Technology risk, you will be pivotal in the leadership and support of special initiatives, such as the delivery of risk awareness training sessions and risk culture initiatives within Group Technology.

**About you**
As an experienced technology risk professional, you will be a collaborative people and outcome focussed professional who thrives on working in a fast-paced environment. You enjoy proactively communicating with a business, such as to executive members, to provide expert advice on how to improve and maintain processes or increase understanding of project impacts.

Having extensive knowledge and proven experience of operation risk management frameworks, supporting standards, processes and practices. This will include qualifications in better practice frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, TOGAF, NIST, and ISO27001. With a good understanding of basic IT governance frameworks, you will have a detailed understanding of APRA Prudential Standards such as CPS220, CPS231, CPS232 and CPS234.
