**About the role**
To support our success we are looking for a Risk Partner - Investments to join the Group Risk & Assurance team based in either Brisbane or Sydney.
The Risk Partner
- Investments focusses on ensuring investment risk and investment compliance activities are performed in accordance with Australian Retirement Trust’s Risk Appetite and Member Expectations
This role partners with the Investments and Investment Operations Teams, as well as providing specialist knowledge to the maintenance and maturation of Governance related to Investment Risk & Investment Compliance matters.
The Risk Partner
- Investments is integral to the continuous improvement of oversight and challenge practices that ensure Australian Retirement Trust delivers market leading investment services to its members.
This role is available as a permanent opportunity.
We are **flexible** with location provide you can attend either our Brisbane or Sydney office at least once a week.
**About you**
If this is the right role for you, your skills and qualifications will include:
- Ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels to influence action and response to requests.
- Ability to analyse operational and investment risk data to identify risk themes and facilitate communication between stakeholders and improved business risk management
- An understanding of the broad responsibilities of a risk function.
- A highly organised approach to information collection and dissemination.
- Understanding of how to identify, assess and escalate risks according to the Risk Management frameworks.
- Well-developed verbal communication and writing skills.
