**Key Responsibilities include**:  
- Assist the Director of Nutrition and Dietetics to operationally (for in-scope FTE) and professionally manage, lead and coordinate the Nutrition and Dietetics team working across the SCHHS.
- Provide leadership, coordination and development of nutrition and dietetic related issues within Food Services, providing high level advice and authoritative counsel to Food Services, senior management, senior clinicians and other key stakeholders, with representation on various committees e.g. patient safety and quality improvement.
- Collaborate with the Director and other key stakeholders and advise senior management on Nutrition and Dietetic service needs and initiatives to deliver contemporary nutrition and dietetic services and quality outcomes. Ensure the planning and delivery of services are in accordance with prescribed ethical and professional standards and with mínimal supervision.
- Provide leadership and professional advice in the professional development of Nutrition and Dietetics clinicians and students across the SCHHS, facilitating competency development and responsible for formal supervision and managing performance appraisal. Assist the Director to ensure these requirements are also in place for Nutrition and Dietetics clinicians and Nutrition Assistants.
