**Who we are**
**Maritime Operations and Regulatory Capability** delivers regulatory assessments and inspections of international vessels to ensure compliance with Australia’s biosecurity requirements. The pathway holds responsibility for administering the Infringement Notice Scheme primarily for infringement notices issued in the airport environment. In addition, the pathway also undertakes a range of enabling services on behalf of the Biosecurity Operations Division including recruitment and workforce planning, learning and development, coaching and regulatory capability and workforce management.
**The Capability and Coaching** team lead initiatives aimed at developing strong leaders capable of building and maintaining high performing teams. This includes facilitating the divisions Middle Manager Coaching Program, Team coaching, and High Performing Teams coaching. These coaching programs foster leadership development by providing targeted support, guidance and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
**The Job**
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Coordinate and assist in planning and implementing programs, overseeing each through to completion.
- Work collaboratively to support the coaching programs including the development of information materials such as brochures, placemats and PowerPoint presentations tailored to the audience as required.
- Monitor the shared mailbox and respond to correspondence.
- Coordinate and monitor registrations and enrolment for coaching program in LearnHub.
- Conduct evaluation surveys of each coaching program using a variety of survey tools such as Mentimeter.
- Provide timely and accurate reporting for program activities, attendance, and evaluation survey data to relevant managers.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to programs.
- Contribute to the ongoing maintenance of the sections BioHub SharePoint pages including the information library.
- Oversee multiple programs simultaneously ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.
- Other general administrative duties as directed and related to these activities
**Please note**: The merit pool established through this selection process, which is valid for a period of eighteen months from the date the vacancy was advertised in the Gazette, may also be used to fill future ongoing vacancies in the division where the duties are of a similar nature.

**What we are looking for**
**Knowledge and experience**
- A working knowledge of using Learning Management System in particular LearnHub, or ability to quickly acquire.
- A good understanding, or the ability to quickly gain a good understanding, of the relevant work environment and its frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities with quality and attention to detail.
**Eligibility**
**Citizenship** -** To be eligible for employment with the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry you must be an Australian citizen.
**Security Clearance** -** This position requires a Baseline Vetting security clearance. You will be required to obtain and maintain a clearance at this level.
**Pre-employment Check** - Your suitability for employment will be assessed through a pre-employment screening process. This process includes a requirement to undergo and satisfy a National Police Check, referee checks, character clearance and where required a pre-employment medical assessment, specified mandatory qualification(s) validation and a probation period of 6 months.
**MSIC and ASIC Licences** **- If the position requires unescorted access within an aviation or maritime security zone, you will be required to obtain and maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) or Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC).
