Eightcap is an Australian online financial trading Company that specialises in foreign exchange (forex) and contract for difference (CFD) trading, offering over 250 tradable instruments to retail clients. The Company is headquartered in Melbourne, Australia and has support offices in the UK and Bulgaria.

Quickly becoming a leader in its field, the Company has gone from strength to strength and experiencing rapid growth. Because of this, we are looking for a Payments Operations Analyst to join the team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Be the point of contact between management and internal/external clients and Payment Service Providers (PSPs) and other payment gateways
- Timely process in capturing client money including the funding and withdrawal process
- Performing daily financial transactions such as verifying, calculating and posting accounts receivable data
- Generating month end reports, supporting processes
- Monthly transaction fees reconciliation for all payment service providers
- Reconciling payments to ensure the accounting system reflects the correct transactions Investigate and
- up all reconciliation discrepancies in a timely manner
- Completing Applications for new Payment Gateways and conduct testing
- Reviewing balances across various providers in multiple currencies daily, ensuring daily client monies reconciliations are performed in accordance with Regulatory requirements
- Working closely with key Finance personnel in other jurisdictions to ensure timely reconciliations
- Maintaining an accurate set of data which will facilitate timely production of monthly management reports
- Liaising with external auditors
- Adhering to and maintaining an effective internal control environment
- Write and regularly review process documentation and/or provide feedback and assistance with documentation
- Raise any errors, risk events, losses or instances of non-compliance to management

Who are you?
- Experience reconciling accounting figures and financial records
- XERO experience ideal but not essential.
- SQL Experience (highly regarded)
- Previous experience working in financial services industry
- An understanding or interest in trading, FX or general finance
- Can work effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders with various levels of knowledge
- Excellent collaborator, verbose and communicative
- Strong client relationship management and customer service skills
- Studies from a Finance background advantageous
- Proven experience working in a fast paced, financial services environment
- Min 3 years Settlements/Reconciliation experienc
- Advanced Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets experience
- Pro-active, fast learner, accountable and reliable
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- High level of communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- Ability to work independently
- Fast learner and use of initiative
- Demonstrate behaviour in accordance with the Eightcap's values
- Positive 'can do' attitude
