We are seeking a strategic and hands-on technology leader to oversee the software development and IT operations across Next Payments' suite of solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic person, someone who displays initiative and a strong desire to contribute to the company.
With new product launches, strong business growth (increasing from 110 employees in 2021 to 175 employees currently), and recently winning major tenders, it is an exciting time to join Next Payments
The Role
This role will lead and manage teams spanning Software Development, Information Security, IT Infrastructure, and Application Support, ensuring all functions operate securely, efficiently, and in alignment with business objectives.
You will drive the integration of artificial intelligence and business automation initiatives to improve processes and enhance productivity, while maintaining compliance with data privacy regulations and industry standards. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions, robust support structures, and seamless onboarding experiences for both internal and external stakeholders. This position plays a key role in shaping the company's technical direction, fostering innovation, and promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement across all technology functions.
About You
- Demonstrated leadership in managing diverse technology teams and functions.
- Proven experience implementing artificial intelligence solutions and business automation in a commercial environment.
- Strong background in software development management, delivery, and support.
- Excellent technical communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Superior problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
- Track record of driving system improvements, streamlining processes, and achieving business outcomes through technology.
- Ability to operate with agility across multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
