**The Role**

Our client is seeking a motivated, energetic and experienced QLD State Sales Manager. You will be responsible for leading the sales team in Queensland.

At the same time, you will be tasked with managing sales and margin performance and growing market share in an expanding portfolio of exciting, global market leading brands.

The nature of the role requires at times for you to lead your team from the front, rolling up your sleeves and supporting your team and their sales projects out in the field. You will be working closely with both the distribution partners to increase market share and with end users to evaluate their requirements and provide tailored solutions.

The company has ambitious growth plans so you also be involved in growing your team once you get your feet under the desk.

**The Person**
- The most important component of success here is going to be your prior experience leading and managing a successful sales team.
- Management experience within the industrial or technical safety equipment industry is highly advantageous however not essential. You will have a hands-on management style, a track record of inspiring sales team and all done with an abundance of passion
- Excellent communication skills with ability to engage with people at all levels.
- Exceptional relationship building, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Collaborative team member with the ability to drive outcomes and work towards team goals.
- Qualifications in business, safety or similar discipline are desirable.
- A high level of trust, integrity and self-motivation is essential.
- A current full Australian driver’s license is required.
