**The Role**
The Procurement and Contract Management Administrator is responsible for supporting the management, administration and governance of the Procurement and Contract Management functions, including supporting fellow team members across TF:
- Providing administrative support to procurement planning, tendering and contract formation, and contract management activities while ensuring compliance with legislation, procurement policies, processes and procedures.
- Provide guidance, advice and services during the procurement lifecycle on contracting activities including supporting coordination of legal and financial services.
- Draft contracting correspondence including commercially sensitive reports, submissions, contract change proposals and other documents as required.
- Support risk mitigation strategies associated with procurement and contracting activities, contract performance and compliance with legislative and policy frameworks.
- Build, sustain and encourage productive relationships with team members and actively participate in team work, and group activities.
- Support the team, including achieving team and individual performance expectations, upholding behavioural standards, and providing support for the development of fellow staff and the team overall.
- Take the initiative to seek and act on feedback from supervisor to confirm agreed performance.
**About our Team**
The Contract Commercial cell is a small team working within the Business Enterprise Management Team, Training Force Headquarters. The centralised contract management functions, have teams geographically located around Australia with regional areas or responsibility to support the delivery of training to our mariners. Reporting to the Contract Management Officer, within the Business Enterprise Management Team, Training Force Headquarters, this role will work with other team members who are geographically located elsewhere.
