The Royal Australian Navy Central Canteens Board (RANCCB), trading as The Navy’s Anchorage, is seeking a motivated and experienced **Marketing Assistant**located in Canberra ACT to join our team. As a not-for-profit organisation supporting the Navy family, we offer a fulfilling role in administrative support.
The Marketing Administrator at Navy Anchorage will play a key role in supporting marketing and merchandising operations across various platforms and locations. This role involves coordinating procurement processes, managing product listings, overseeing Shopify operations, print coordination, and providing essential administrative support to the marketing team.
**Key Responsibilities overview**
**Merchandising**
Coordinate the procurement process, including communication with suppliers, ordering products, preparing delivery notices for the warehouse, and distributing products to venues
- Organise and maintain product listings for various locations in the Bepoz system, including creating new products, processing invoices, and transferring inventory to designated locations
- Assist with monthly merchandise stocktakes
- Fulfill merchandise orders for venues
- Potentially travel to venues for events and merchandise pop-ups
- Potentially transport goods between the warehouse and other locations
**Shopify Management**
- Ensure Shopify product listings are accurate and up to date
- Collaborate with the Brand and Engagement Specialist to ensure the storefront adheres to brand guidelines
- Execute sales campaigns on Shopify
- Respond to customer queries in a timely manner
- Manage order cancellations and refunds
**Print Coordination**
- Collaborate with the Brand and Engagement Specialist and liaise with suppliers to coordinate the printing of marketing collateral
**Marketing and Promotion**
- Conduct market research
- Implement and communicate market strategies
- Track competitor activities and changes
- Set up tracking systems for marketing campaigns and online activities
- Schedule and organise website content
- Monitor market mix and industry trends
**Administrative Support**:
- Provide administrative and customer support for the discount ticketing program.
**Skills and Attributes Required**:
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Proactive, highly motivated, and flexible
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Experience in graphic designing
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience working with Western companies (preferred)
**Qualifications and Experience Required**:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing and/or relevant experience in similar role
Pay: $51,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
