**About the Role**
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accounts Receivable Officer is part of a team responsible for effective management of the accounting and administration processes within the Arcare Finance department in relation to client fees and charges.

**Skills and Experience**
- Previous experience in an accounts receivable
- Knowledge of office administration and general bookkeeping procedures
- Knowledge of general accounting principles
- Strong customer service skills
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail and ability to prioritize
- Proficiency in the use of software relevant to the position
- Be reliable, flexible and a team player
- Be willing to obtain a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check clearance

**Responsibilities**
- Administration of data regarding the admission and discharge of clients
- Client invoicing, receipting, reconciliation, debt collection and banking
- Reconciliation of government claim statements to payment statements with appropriate follow-up
- Maintaining occupancy records
- Liaising/corresponding with residents and families as required
- Other administrative and accounting duties as require
