**The Role**

We are currently searching for a dynamic and flexible Accounts Officer in a Fixed term contract role as maternity cover to join our Shared Services team in our Melbourne CBD Head Office. Reporting into the Shared Services Team Lead, the Accounts Officer will be responsible for processing payments, ensuring appropriate and timely allocation as well as improving customer experience.

This is a cross functional role with an immediate focus on Accounts Payable but with the long-term prospect of working across Accounts Receivables and Payable.

**Key Responsibilities**
- End to end Accounts Payable experience
- Processing a high volume of accounts payable invoices in SAP
- Ensuring three-way matching of invoices against Purchase Orders
- High volume verification of incoming supplier invoices via Readsoft
- Exposure to Vendor Master Management and Freight Invoice Processing
- Management of supplier enquiries
- Maintaining compliance with internal controls

**Skills & Experience**
- Proven experience minimum 2-3 years of working in Accounts Payable is desirable
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Flexible and adaptable to work in a fast-paced environment
- Confident liaising with a variety of stakeholders across the Finance and broader business
- High attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with the desire to continue learning and developing
