Finance Officer

**Position Title**: Finance Officer
**Employment Type**: Part-time, Permanent (10-14 hours per week)
**Location**: Melbourne (Head Office, with flexible/hybrid options)
**Salary**: $65,000 - $80,000 + super (pro rata, depending on experience)

The Role

We're seeking a detail-oriented **Finance Officer** to support day-to-day finance operations, including accounts payable and receivable, client invoicing, payroll support, and compliance administration.

Key Responsibilities
- Process supplier invoices, receipts, and payments
- Generate client invoices and manage receivables
- Reconcile accounts, prepare reports, and resolve discrepancies
- Support payroll processing and superannuation reporting
- Assist with month-end closing, audits, and compliance activities
- Maintain financial databases and records with accuracy

About You
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- 2-3 years' experience in finance or accounting role
- Solid understanding of AP/AR, GST, and compliance
- Proficiency with **Xero**; experience with **Astute Payroll** highly desirable
- Strong Excel and data entry accuracy
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
