The Principal Advisor, Asset and Property Management (fixed or mobile) provides centralized management of QCS' property and asset portfolio to ensure continuity of service and business delivery. This important remit incorporates offices, plant, vehicles, and equipment for all QCS Divisions and locations, predominantly supporting Community Corrections, Specialist Operations, Organisational Capability Divisions and Custodial Operations (as required).
Further, this role will provide informed, pre-emptively timed recommendations into QCS' strategic forecasting process for future property and asset requirements.
The ability to identify trends and risks, and continuously review for delivery improvements to value, safety and performance by way of technology, scenario planning, and engaging with end users to develop practical, efficient and actionable deliverables is key for success.

**In this role you will**:

- replacement data, and similar, noting such reports are escalated to Assistant Commissioner level and above. After consultation and approval, create project schedules and budgets for incorporation in the Command's overarching master schedule of project and delivery priorities. Utilise high calibre negotiation and collaboration skills when conducting lease or contractual discussions, ensuring fair and professional representation of QCS and the agency's best interest Form productive and trusted working relationships with role stakeholders: immediate team, Policy and Legal teams, Finance, Procurement and Contracts teams, various operational management teams, contracted service providers, QCS Governance Team, and similar. Demonstrate your resilience to manage role relationships, deliverables, and actions in a fast-paced, cost-and-time sensitive, reactive (on occasion), high demand work environment.
