About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Adviser, Human Rights Information and Inquiries, the Information and Administration Officer provides receptionist and administration services for the Commission and support to ensure the smooth operation of our reception, administration, enquiries service, and education and engagement programs. The role requires a commitment to service excellence, experience with the operation of phone systems and databases as well as a high degree of empathy and emotional intelligence when servicing individuals with diverse needs.
**Some of your duties may include**:
- Provides reception and front-of-house engagement for the Commission, including receiving and directing visitors, managing the Commission's reception phone line and coordinating all incoming and outgoing mail and couriers
- Maintains correspondence and accurate registrations for participants of the Commission's calendar education sessions.
About You
- Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in case management databases and registration platforms, such as Resolve, Access, Eventbrite and SurveyMonkey.
- Proven experience using the Microsoft office product suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
