As part of our maturity and growth, we are seeking a **Security Specialist** to implement all aspects of protective security ensuring compliance with program, contractual, regulatory and company security requirements in accordance with the DSPF, ISM and Northrop Grumman policies.

The Security Specialist will also maintain and facilitate DISP requirements by maintaining security accreditations, management of security clearances, facilitating awareness training and managing access control.

This role is primarily based out of Brisbane office with occasional travel to our Airport facility.

**Skills, Experience and Qualifications required**:

- The ability to complete Defence Security Security Officer Course within 6 months of gaining position.
- Cert IV in Government (Security) (or equivalent)
- Have the ability to interface with Defence on security requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Experience in Australian Government Security and the ability to interpret Defence policy documents.
- Must be an Australian Citizen ideally holding a current Negative Vetting 1 security clearance.

**Desired requirements**:

- Cert IV in Government (Investigations)
- Cert IV in Security Risk Management
