What you'll do

  • Research trends, analyse data and develop awareness materials and reporting to address key cyber security risks and topics including fact sheets, PowerPoint presentations and other collateral to support awareness across the organisation.
  • Prepare Cyber Security Alerts and incident notifications on behalf of Cyber Security Group to ensure the timely and direct advice supports immediate actions to address key security vulnerabilities and active exploits.
  • Coordinate advice and support, issues and requirements of a virtual team of Cyber Security Ambassadors across Queensland Health comprised of clinicians, senior leaders and administrative staff.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships by communicating, consulting and negotiating with stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Provide relevant and timely cyber security information and advice to a broad range of stakeholders through a customer service driven approach to general enquires.
  • Use highly developed engagement, problem-solving and negotiation skills to build and maintain positive, productive and effective relationships with eHealth teams, privacy teams, fraud awareness teams and other delivery teams that Cyber Security Group is reliant on for shared service outcomes.

About you

We are searching for someone who has:

  • Demonstrated experience in assisting in the development and implementation of cultural change through a cybersecurity awareness program (or similar) or in a large, complex and geographically dispersed service delivery organisation.
  • Demonstrated broad knowledge and understanding (or ability to acquire knowledge) of the major trends, strategic directions and legislative and governance frameworks related to information security, with the capacity to successfully adopt them in the healthcare environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: Information, Security, Training, Cultural Change, Communication,
  • Security Governance, Management, Incident Management.
  • Demonstrated experience assisting in developing and generating cyber security (or similar) reports, using data visualisation tools with multiple data sets.
  • Highly developed research, analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills including the proven capacity to initiate appropriate strategic and operational responses to key issues affecting the enterprise.
