Australian mining organisation seeking an IT Service Delivery Manager for both working from home and FIFO

**Your new company**
A leading Australian mining organisation with sites across Australia are seeking an IT Service Delivery Manager to oversee the on-site technical vendors and processes. This role is a mixture of both working from home and FIFO (flying in and out from Brisbane or Townsville) in central QLD

**Your new role**
Your new role will see you work within the small but dedicated multi-disciplinary Technology Leadership Team comprised of Project Managers, Technical Leads and Technology Supervisors to operate in a hybrid position to be based on site and remote (from home) to manage this mine site’s vendors, processes, assets and service delivery.

As part of this team you will be liaising and working alongside others to establish best practices, project road maps and deployment plans to name a few. Alongside this you will at times be representing the IT department at cross-departmental meetings to encourage knowledge sharing and to ensure your department is part of any business projects that have IT components.

Outside of this high level work, whilst having no direct reports as part of this role you will oversee and coordinate the on-site external recourses from various vendors, suppliers and providers. You will be doing this to ensure issues are resolved on time, project milestones are being met, solutions are delivered and the correct ITIL frameworks are being adhered to.

**What you'll need to succeed**
You will need experience/knowledge across the following:

- Service Delivery Management and knowledge of ITIL
- Vendor management and coordination
- Process improvement
- The creation and maintenance of technical documentation
- Working with individuals across all levels of an organisation
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Full AU working rights

Not a necessity but highly advantageous:

- Previous mining experience

You will be offered a hybrid FIFO/remote working 6 month rolling contract role with a leading Australian mining organisation flying out of Townsville or Brisbane with all flights, accommodation and meals paid for (when on site) paying circa $80 per hour plus super.
