**About ElectraNet**:
ElectraNet builds, owns, operates, and maintains the South Australian high voltage transmission network that delivers electricity from generators to distributors and major load connected customers, enabling power to be supplied to homes, businesses, and communities.

**The Opportunity**:

We are continually evolving to ensure the electricity transmission network provides secure, reliable, and stable power and we’re looking for a Network Switching and Outage Coordinator to join our high performing, close knit Network Outages team which is responsible for the management, planning and co-ordination of planned transmission outages and associated switching programs to ensure network switching is carried out in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities include:

- Preliminary security assessments for transmission network outages and permission to proceed for distribution network outages impacting the transmission network
- Ensuring information in ElectraNet and AEMO outage schedules is accurate and maintained in a timely manner
- Preparing, checking, and processing switching programs in accordance with current Switching Manual
- Providing support and specialist technical advice to Network Switching Writer (NSW) role, customers, and other groups within ElectraNet
- Contributing to the effectiveness of the Outage Planning team and Network Operations overall performance.
- Completing accurately, regular reporting requirements

**About You**:
You will have sound knowledge of electrical power system equipment gained through experience in the field or formal qualifications in engineering, along with an advance understanding of safe work practices.

You will also have advanced communication skills and demonstrate the ability to build relationships across broad stakeholder groups, to resolve problems and achieve best for business outcomes.

Success in this role is characterised by high attention to detail, strong planning and coordination skills, and the ability to make decisions and act purposefully in critical events.
