**The Opportunity**:
South Australia’s energy landscape is transforming through the unprecedented growth of renewable energy infrastructure looking to connect to our network. We’re continually evolving to ensure the electricity transmission network provides secure, reliable and stable power and we’re looking for someone to join our close-knit team to help coordinate the planning of transmission outages and switching programs to ensure network switching is carried out in a timely, safe and efficient manner.

In addition to joining a team at technical forefront of the High Voltage transmission industry, you will:

- **Power possibilities**: Receive on-the-job training and development including a Category 2 Switching Licence
- **Fuel the Future**: Contribute to the safe, reliable and secure operation of the Network.
- **Empower Connections**: Provide advice to both internal and external stakeholders to ensure safe and efficient access to the transmission network
- **Secure** **the system**: Ensure information in ElectraNet and AEMO outage schedules is accurately maintained, and data is suitable for regular reporting requirements.

**About You**:
You will have sound knowledge of electrical power system equipment gained through experience in the field or formal qualifications in engineering, along with an advance understanding of safe work practices.

Your systematic approach ensures that you’re successful in undertaking activities that require strong attention to detail. You’re an adaptive, quick learner with strong communication skills who is always seeking to achieve best for business outcomes, and willing to support the broader team as an effective team player.

In addition, you’ll have:

- Trade Skilled Worker (electrical or Power Line) and/or equivalent electrical qualifications
- Previous experience in the field working with HV Equipment or Transmission lines
- Experience in safety, technical, and operational management of major infrastructure
- Experience with maintenance or project related activities
- Demonstrable written and verbal communication skills; good interpersonal skills
- A strong desire and ability to acquire both technical and business knowledge/skills
