**The Opportunity**:
South Australia's energy landscape is rapidly transforming through the unprecedented growth of renewable energy projects looking to connect to our network and significant work on the transmission network itself. We are continually evolving to ensure the electricity transmission network provides secure, reliable, and stable power and we're looking for a Network Switching Writer to join our high performing, close knit Network Outages team which is responsible for the co-ordination of planning of transmission outages and switching programs to ensure network switching is carried out in a timely, safe and efficient manner.

In this role you will proactively support switching activities by:

- Preparing and checking system switching requests (SSR), including templating and standardising switching sheets in accordance with ElectraNet Switching Manual.
- Coordinate the checking and processing of the SSR into a system switching program (SSP).
- Providing advice on transmission network access.
- Ensuring information in ElectraNet and AEMO outage schedules is accurately maintained.
- Ensuring the timely and accurate maintenance of data and completion of regular reporting requirements.

**About You**:
You will have sound knowledge of electrical power system equipment gained through experience in the field or formal qualifications in engineering, along with an advance understanding of safe work practices.

Your systematic approach ensures that you are successful in undertaking activities that require strong attention to detail. You're an adaptive, quick learner with strong communication skills who is always seeking to achieve best for business outcomes and willing to support the broader team as an effective team player.
