Business Manager

About the Role
Due to continued growth and an internal promotion, are now looking for an experienced Business Manager to join our team.
This role can be based out of any of our locations across Australia. We offer flexible working options
The Business Manager role is responsible for overseeing enterprise-level support and service activities for those involved with the delivery of the business operations data governance, deliverables, and processes as well as ongoing business as usual activities including but is not limited to Projects, Contracts, Data Administration, Financial Processing, Financial Analysis, Compliance to systems, exception reporting, training & support across Australia Wide markets.
Role Responsibilities

**The Business Manager is responsible for (but not limited to)**:

- Establishing and maintaining Operational Excellence in the technologies and business processes.
- Developing support delivery strategy and related processes, escalation procedures and training.
- Acting as the integration point between internal customers and business operations, across wider stakeholder groups, such as service delivery managers, project managers and other users of the systems.
- Liaising between internal customers and technical product owners to identify opportunities for service improvements, cost reduction and value-add to Datacom.
- Ensuring that Datacom’s obligations under billing, revenue, rebates, and cost are met to Datacom’s Corporate Policies.
- Troubleshooting escalated issues across systems/process/tools to resolution.
- Monitoring and reporting on the corrective action planning to address non-conformance to Data Governance, Processes, and Procedures

What you’ll bring

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Be hands on in all aspects of the role, and be able to lead as an SME.
- Detailed knowledge of the general business operations processes.
- Broad knowledge of the outsourced IT services market and project requirements.
- Strong technical understanding of ERP or financial systems and operations.
- Strong financial management practices with a clear understanding of the relationship between costs, utilisation and project revenue.
- Strong business acumen and commercial aptitude.
- Strong understanding of best practice financial processes.
- Sound understanding of projects delivery and financial governance.
- Proven negotiating skills with the aptitude to ensure win/win situations for all parties.
- Excellent customer relationship building and management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a wide variety of stakeholders.
