Your new company is a State Government department seeking a People Support Officer for a 3-month contract.
**Your new role**
Your new role is providing contact centre and face to face member services. You will be a first point of contact for employment advice, services and support for over 30000 employees. Your duties will include but will not be limited to:
- Provide people and culture information both verbally and in writing
- Develop and maintain practical knowledge of people and culture legislation, policy and procedures
- Deliver high level administrative services
**What you'll need to succeed**
In order to succeed in this role you will need:
- Demonstrated experience, enthusiasm and self motivation in providing exceptional customer service
- Experience working within a contact centre or similar service
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to positively engage with customers
- A current Working with Children check
- Ability to work rostered shifts between 8am and 6pm
