**About the Role**
We have built an outstanding reputation for our work with some of the largest privately-owned organisations in the state and to support our continued growth at Perks, we are seeking the services of an internal Talent & People Experience Specialist. Reporting to the People & Culture Manager (P&CM), you will be primarily responsible for performing all aspects of the firm’s recruitment lifecycle from advertising, sourcing, interviewing, testing, and providing recommendations to hiring managers and processing contracts. You will also work closely with the People &Culture Manager in developing and implementing talent acquisition strategies.
**Responsibilities**
- Develop and Implement talent acquisition strategies including branding and recruitment strategies to attract passive job seekers and graduates
- Determine current workforce needs and preparing quarterly and annual hiring plans
- Assist with development of position descriptions
- Liaise with hiring managers to understand each position’s expectations and to ensure effective coordination and communication of the complete recruitment process
- Develop strong relationships and partner with hiring manager/s to deliver quality talent
- Manage the recruitment process from start to finish - providing the Hiring Managers and the People & Culture Manager with relevant updates.
- Provide recommendations to the hiring managers and assist with decision making
- Assist with letters of offer and employment contract creation

- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and without supervision
- Ability and willingness to adapt and work in a fast paced, flexible changing environment
- Experience using LinkedIn, Microsoft Office Suite and Job Boards and Recruitment Systems
- Knowledge of HR legislation in the areas of awards and employment contracts
- Strong decision-making skills with the ability to influence stakeholders with positive outcomes
- Excellent time management skills and demonstrated ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure with competing priorities and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to transcribe information accurately
- Professional discretion and manner with the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and deal effectively with a wide range of people with a positive outlook
- Experience in a professional services and client focused environment, experience within the Accounting and/or Financial industry _(desirable)_
