The Summit is a multi-award-winning, 50-acre outdoor adventure park that sees 12,000 guests a year. Its primary focus is providing inspiring and life-changing experiences through a combination of meaningful programs and powerful activities that build self-worth, character, success. We are industry experts in school camps, corporate retreats, experiential education, Sporting club camps, large group accommodation, events, catering, activities, and custom programs. It is part coach, part Tony Robbins, part outdoor education guru, part operational genius, part cheerleader, 100% unicorn The Program Coordinator's primary role is to ensure the program component of camp is professional, organized, and successful. The team is inspired and motivated and has the skills to deliver. This comprises of a number of responsibilities: Lead and Inspire Excellence - Lead the charge in creating a positive and supportive environment and culture. - Genuinely deliver our Summit values with passion through your interactions with guests. - Have a natural willingness to strive for excellence and thrive in a busy and dynamic environment. - Inspire your team with your work ethic, energy, and passion for helping people step into their greatness. - Have confidence and creativity in your sales abilities to get any client over the line. - Never say NO and think way outside the box to make every experience possible. - Come to the Senior team with “solutions” rather than problems. - Provide constructive, open, and honest feedback to strengthen staff relationships. - Allow staff to “fail forward” in a healthy way in order for them to learn and grow. - Be willing to contribute physically, emotionally, and intellectually to reach your professional goals and to inspire those around you to do the same. - Support, deliver and action senior management’s decisions within your team. - Regulate and self-manage your own workload and that of your team. Ask for support when required to prevent overwhelm and burnout. - Must have extensive experience in leading teams and achieving whilst working under pressure and in a fast-paced and changing environment. - Must be able to inspire, motivate teach and train staff to deliver epic programs. General Expectations and Requirements - Is a positive, warm, professional, organized team player. - Is willing to learn and take initiative in all aspects of this role. - Has a CAN-DO attitude and is super organized. - Has outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. - Has Outdoor Education experience and/or industry-related experience - Experience managing young adults - Possess strong leadership skills - ability to motivate, educate and lead staff - Committed to personal growth in themselves and the team - Has Formal training in Outdoor Recreation. - Has First Aid Level II and Working with Children’s check. Role Responsibilities - Being on the ground in program running activities - Being on the ground shadowing and modelling and providing timely feedback that aid the growth of the staff member - Leading coaching staff through training and further development. - Ensuring Team Leaders and coaches fully understand the needs of the client and program requirements. - Design of all programs - Rostering staff for programs - Meet with the Team leaders every Monday, Wednesday & Friday Morning - Lead daily debriefs with the coaching team - Train the coaching team in both hard and soft skills. - Be present and support IMPACTs that >inspire and provide the team with epic strategies to improve the quality of their lives and those of the clients. - Supervise and grade coaching teams' online training - Weekly feedback for coaching teams training both online and in the park - Lead the weekly Safety meeting with the coaching team - Regularly check and manage all gear and equipment - Have great awareness of the wellbeing of team members and when needed check ins with team members and offer support - Manage the program related work safe Reporting Recruitment Recruit and train new coaches for the following year's training. Working Hours Full-time position Monday - Friday 8:15am - 5:00pm or as required Occasional weekend work Leadership Meeting every Tuesday 7:15 am - 8:30 am Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year Work Authorisation: - Australia (preferred) Application Deadline: 20/12/2024
