**About Us**

Working from our architecturally designed Administration Centre in central Maitland, we are seeking a highly organised and motivated executive support professional to join the Office of the General Manager, as their Council Services and Governance Officer.

**About the Role**

Additionally, you will provide administrative support for key functions such as Council meetings, briefings and Committee meetings. As Council Services and Governance Officer you will administer and manage Council Registers, and ensure internal and external compliance reporting, while providing a high level of customer service and executive level support for stakeholders and the Council Services and Governance team.

**About You**

You will hold a Certificate IV in Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and relevant contemporary experience in records management. To succeed in this role, you will possess demonstrated knowledge of the NSW State Records Act 1998, record keeping standards, and best practice, along with proven experience in using and optimising Information and Records Management systems.

You will also have demonstrated knowledge of other relevant legislation including the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (GIPA Act) and Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 (PPIP Act). Your highly developed interpersonal and problem-solving skills, and ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organisation, will aid in your ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.

**Benefits**

This is a permanent full-time role working 35 hours per week, with a base salary ranging from $75227 - $83502 per year based on demonstrated competencies + 11.5% p.a superannuation.
