Course Coordinator Sport/ Leadership and Management

Based at Hawthorn Football Club’s Venues
- Part-time (11.4 hrs per week) Fixed Term until December 2025
- Pro Rata EM1 $114,788 per annum (exclusive of superannuation)

**About the role**:
A new and exciting opportunity to join Box Hill Institute as our Course Coordinator Sport/ Leadership and Management in partnership with Hawthorn College of Sport

Box Hill Institute has partnered with Hawthorn College of Sport to provide an industry led qualification that focuses on a career in sport, fitness, or business. The career outcomes are management roles within sporting organisations, event planner, fitness and wellness program developer, sport administrator, sport development manager or coach.

The Course Coordinator leads a team of education professionals to design deliver, evaluate and continuously improve leading edge programs for their area. As the operational leader for their programs, they optimise resourcing, and manage day to day operational effectiveness. They provide ongoing professional development for their team, and proactively manage team and individual performance.

Together with the Director the Course Coordinator manages delivery that is aligned with the overall BHI Strategy and Education Strategy. They are responsible for student experience and outcomes of their area, including out of classroom student experience in conjunction with key stakeholders across BHI. They support, coach and train Teachers to deliver an excellent student experience and provide necessary support in achieving student outcomes. Coordinators may teach as required.

The Foundation College is the Educational Delivery division, provides pre-accredited programs; foundation programs, such as learner support, english language studies, transition and work education; and senior secondary school programs such as VCE, VCAL. It administers the Vet Delivery in Secondary Schools program across BHI.

This position is part-time (11.4 hrs per week), fixed term until December 2025 and is based at Hawthorn Football Club’s venues including the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), Waverly and Dingley. It is also expected that you may be required to work across any campus of the Box Hill Institute as required including City, Box Hill or Lilydale.

**Qualifications**
- A relevant approved AQF Level 6 or above qualification in adult and vocational education.
- A vocational qualification relevant to the Sport and or Leadership and Management.
- A relevant approved AQF Level 6 or above in Management or leadership and or Sport qualification.
