**Operations Manager Position - North of the River**
$60.72 Hourly rate

**Based on the industry your duties will include following**:

- Oversee the daily operations of the organisation and ensure all processes and procedures are running smoothly.
- Ensure the business achieves its budgets through sales, cost, and profitability goals,
- Report, adjust and forecast budgets throughout the year as required,
- Effectively manage risks and issues to eliminate or limit any likely business impacts,
- Implement best practice procedures and policies across the organisation and ensure compliance with government regulation and Australian Standards,
- Prepare reports and analysis for decision making at senior management level,
- Plan the use of human resources by organising recruitment, work schedules, supervising staff, and performance,
- Monitor performance of each department; their objectives and KPIs, and implement improvements where required,
- Manage relationships with external providers such as IT, production, and printing,
- Be part of the senior management within the Group and assist in the development and management of strategic plans for the Group.

**To be a successful applicant for this position you must have**:

- Current National Police Clearance **or able to obtain one**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification and a minimum of five years’ experience in a similar role are essential,
- Strong background in people management and good understanding of employment law,
- Demonstrated ability to manage strategic issues and resolve complex problems,
- Experience conducting analysis and preparing information for decision making at board level,
- Strong commercial acumen, business understanding and ability to ensure profitability,
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
