With a dedicated design, development, and research team, they also offer element flyscreens, internal blinds, plantation shutters, opening roof systems, external shutters, and home automation solutions.
The Role We are searching for an experienced Purchasing Officer to take ownership of this role. Based in Seven Hills, NSW working in modern, state of the art offices, this role will be responsible for buying products that are essential for the company's day-to-day operations. You will review prices and quality and ensure optimal stock levels are maintained. You will create and maintain positive relationships with key suppliers to ensure merchandise is of high quality and delivered on time.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Sourcing materials, goods, products, and services and negotiating the best or most cost-effective contracts and deals
- Performing inventory inspections and reordering supplies and stock as necessary
- Conducting market research to keep abreast of emerging trends and business opportunities
- Conducting product research and sourcing new suppliers and vendors
- Coordinating with the delivery team and following up on delays or orders that have been rescheduled
- Establishing professional relationships with clients as well as vendors and suppliers

**What we are looking for**:

- Proven work experience as a Purchasing Officer, Purchasing Agent or similar
- Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluation, and liaising with vendors)
- Solid analytical skills with an understanding of supply chain procedures
- Hands-on experience with purchasing software
- Superb written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
- A positive can-do attitude
