**About this opportunity**:
Our Gympie store is currently looking for a motivated and hard working leader, to join and manage the store's Service Deli department. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, this successful applicant will be responsible for leading a small team, creating rosters, generating orders, completing stock takes + much more
**Working as a part of an enthusiastic team, in a highly competitive supermarket environment, applicants will be expected to demonstrate**:
- Fresh food retail knowledge
- Experience in management is desired, but not essential
- Ability to lead and manage a team
- Ordering and cost control skills
- Ability to generate rosters
- Passion and enthusiasm, with a very "hands on" approach
- Unparalleled commitment to customer service
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to liaise with both team members and management
- A flair for merchandising
- Strong leadership and delegation skills
