Findex are currently seeking a Payroll Officer to join our dynamic payroll team This is an initial 12 month max-term contract ideally based in Melbourne.

**The Opportunity**:
Findex are currently seeking a Payroll Officer to join our dynamic payroll team.

This is an initial 12 month max-term contract with a preference to be based in Melbourne.

**What will your typical week look like?**
- Processing of end-to-end payroll
- Ensuring all payroll requests from staff are approved with the required supporting documentation
- Assist in running End of Month payroll reports
- Assist in Superannuation lodgement and Payroll Tax Reconciliation.

**Let’s talk about you**
- Ideally 2-3 years of proven Payroll experience, ideally processing payroll for a large organisation
- Experience with payroll practices and relevant legislation, (e.g. PAYG, SGC, salary packaging, leave and other entitlements)
- Ascender Pay system experience would be advantageous (or equivalent)
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders
- Be a driven self-starter who understands the ‘must have’ steps in order to complete a pay run.
