We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Law Design and Practice (LDP) Group.
As a **Cabinet Liaison Officer,** you will work in a fast-paced environment, participating as a member of a small team sharing the management the ATO’s Cabinet business. You’ll use your expertise and knowledge to monitor incoming requests for cross-government consultation and liaise with senior staff on sensitive matters. You’ll complete work within agreed timeframes and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver timely advice on complex information.
You will work autonomously to provide support in the strategic coordination across the LDP Group, which may include coordinating Senate Estimates briefs or preparing management reports, and participate in setting the future direction of the team. You’ll also build team capability and support less experienced staff.
This role will occasionally require after hours and weekend work.
This role may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in **Canberra**.
