YMCA Queensland is seeking a **P&C Officer on a Full-Time basis** that is creative and fun to join our People and Culture team based at head office in **Fortitude Valley.**

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

As the People and Culture Officer, you will have a dynamic role supporting the P&C team undertaking a wide range of responsibilities along with some exciting project work.

Reporting to an energised People and Culture Operations Lead, our team is renowned for its high-performance standards and unwavering support for one another. We take pride in fostering a collaborative environment where every member is empowered to excel and contribute meaningfully, while embracing a touch of quirkiness that adds a unique vibrancy to our workplace culture.

You day will be busy with the below and so much more:

- Take ownership of administrative tasks supporting the P&C team
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of P&C documentation, such as job descriptions, policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate people data across the HRIS including employee files
- Support the talent team with recruitment processes including contract generation
- Provide amazing best practice advise for Tier 1 & 2 enquiries
- Manage all HR reporting including compliance reporting for qualifications
- Assist the business partners with case management

**ABOUT YOU**

You are an adaptable team player who possesses a unique blend of strategic thinking, empathy and creativity. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children and families.
- Tertiary qualifications in human resources or a related field, coupled with 3 years of hands-on experience in a similar role.
- A passion for delivering a high level of service to all stakeholders, with a customer-focused, can-do attitude.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication style to suit varying audiences.
- A detailed-orientated approach, showing great care and attention within all aspects of work. Demonstrated creativity and drive in contributing to people-focused projects, bringing fresh ideas and innovative solutions to the table.
