**Who is Assetinsure?**
Assetinsure Pty Ltd is an APRA licenced Australian general insurer. Operating since 2004, Assetinsure is focused on delivering innovative insurance solutions primarily to the Australian and New Zealand markets on a “Primary” and “Agency” basis.

**The role**
The primary purpose of this critical role is to provide support for the claim’s management operations of Assetinsure for the end-to-end management of domestic building insurance claims, manage the builder panel and quality assurance.

Reporting to the National Claims Manager, you will:

- Be responsible for the end-to-end claims function including lodgement, appointing and instructing assessors, verification of claims, inviting builders to tender, stakeholder management and maintaining the electronic claim file.
- Instruct legal advisors on policy coverage issues and external disputes.
- Deal with administrators, attend creditor meetings (if required) and lodge Proof of Debts.
- Oversee the DBI Builder Panel and establish systems to assess suitability and monitor performance
- Facilitate open dialogue with underwriters in relation to policy interpretation and specific claim management issues.
- Assist National Manager Claims in updating and maintaining claims management guidelines for DBI claims as and when required.
